Tenth week of Teaching Practice
22 September 2025
Today, I reached the school at 9:00 am and signed the attendance register. I was assigned for the morning discipline duty, where I helped in maintaining order among students and ensuring that the morning activities were conducted in a disciplined manner.
I conducted diagnostic test at 9C and I had optional observation.
As part of the ongoing arts fest, writing competitions were organized for the UP section students. The event created a vibrant atmosphere in the school and encouraged students to express their creativity. In addition to this, I conducted a conscientization program in class 8C on the topic “An Awareness Program on Gender Equality among Secondary School Students.” Through this program, I was able to discuss the importance of equality, mutual respect, and breaking gender stereotypes. The students responded actively and shared their views, which made the session interactive and meaningful.

Today I reached school at 9 am and signed the attendance register. Soon after, I was assigned for morning discipline duty.
Today the preparations for the arts fest were going on in school, and students were actively engaged in various practice sessions.
24 September 2025
Today I reached school at 9 am and signed the attendance register. After completing the morning discipline duty. I went to sort out the list for arts fest.
Today, preparations for the Arts Day were underway in the school. Additionally, we celebrated NSS Day, with a program conducted entirely by the students. As part of the event, the inauguration of the NSS unit for this academic year took place, and the unit was officially named “Jeevitholsavam.”
The students actively participated in the program, showcasing their organizational skills and enthusiasm for the activities. The event marked a positive start to the NSS activities for the year and fostered a sense of community and involvement among the students. The afternoon session was allotted for Arts Day practice.
The class ended by 4:15 pm and we left the school after signing the attendance register.
25 September 2025
I reached school at 9:00 am and signed the attendance register. The Arts Day program commenced at 9:30 am and was inaugurated by the administrator of Mar Ivanios Bethany School, Rev. Fr. Mathew Parackal.
Programs were arranged across different stages to manage the various performances efficiently. Today’s cultural presentations included recitation, Bharatanatyam, Kuchipudi, Mohiniyattam, Nadodi Nirtham, Thiruvathira, Oppana, and Margamkali, showcasing the students’ diverse talents and dedication.
I had the responsibility of duty in Stage 2, which involved supervising the students, ensuring they were ready for their performances on time, and maintaining order during the presentations. Being actively involved in stage management allowed me to observe the students closely, supporting them when needed, and ensuring the smooth flow of performances.
Overall, the Arts Day program was well-coordinated and successful. It highlighted the students’ artistic abilities, reinforced cultural appreciation, and provided a lively, engaging environment.
