Workshop on Life Skill Development

Workshop on LIFE SKILL DEVELOPMENT A workshop on Life Skills Development was organized by Rama Vilasom Training College, Valakom, Kollam, on 20th March at 9:30 AM in Valsamma Memorial Hall. The event featured Shri. Vishnu Prasad M.V, a Strategic HR Specialist, Certified Psychologist, and Master Trainer, as the resource person. The program began with a prayer by the college choir, followed by a welcome speech delivered by Dr. Rany S., Principal of RVTC. Smt. Anju S.S., Assistant Professor in General Education, introduced the resource person, who then led a session on life skills. The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms. Aneesha K. Raju, Chairperson. The event was designed to equip participants with essential life skills through expert guidance and practical insights.

DAY 1 The Arts Day 2K25 event, held at Valsalamma Memorial Hall, began with a prayer by the College Choir, followed by a welcome speech from Dr. Rany S, Principal of RVTC. Ms. Aneesha K Raju, Chairperson, gave the Presidential Address, and the inauguration was conducted by Shri. Mohanlal, a retired high school teacher from Sadhanadapuram . The event also featured felicitations, with Smt. Sini R, principal of RVTTI and Ms. Megha B Syam, Staff Advisor, being honored. The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Ganga CJ, Arts Club Secretary. After the formal proceedings, the day continued with vibrant cultural events celebrating various art forms.

The event, starting at 9:30 AM,Women’s Day celebration honors the achievements and contributions of women in various fields. It includes inspiring speeches, cultural programs, and activities that promote gender equality and empowerment. The event encourages awareness about women's rights and celebrates their strength, resilience, and role in building a better, inclusive society.

The "നാടക കളരി" workshop was conducted on 5th March 2025 at Valsalamma Memorial Hall, under the guidance of the talented resource person, Sini ma'am . The workshop was designed to introduce participants to the rich tradition of drama in Kerala, with a particular focus on its connection to the region's cultural heritage.The session began with an introduction to the art form, exploring its evolution and significance in Malayalam literature and performing arts. Sini ma'am expertise in the field allowed participants to engage deeply with both theoretical and practical elements of theater.Participants were exposed to a variety of exercises, including body movements, voice modulation techniques, and improvisation, all of which are essential components of performance art.
