Gandhi Jayanthi

Gandhi Jayanthi is celebrated every year on October 2nd to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of the Nation. He was a great leader who played a key role in India’s freedom struggle through his principles of non-violence (ahimsa) and truth (satya). Gandhi Jayanthi is a national holiday in India, and people across the country pay tribute to Bapu by organizing prayer services, cleanliness drives, and cultural programs in schools and institutions. His life and teachings continue to inspire millions around the world to live with honesty, peace, and kindness. On this day, we remember his contributions and take a pledge to follow his path of simplicity, service, and love for all.
