24 November The week kicked off on a high note! Monday's Morning Assembly was a special occasion dedicated to celebrating talent. We held the Prize Distribution Ceremony for the winners of the recent Kalolsavam (Arts Festival). It was inspiring to see the students' dedication to the arts being acknowledged. Moments like these truly boost school spirit and motivate students to pursue their passions. 25 & 26 November Tuesday and Wednesday were dedicated to regular, focused class sessions. I continued to implement the lesson plans I've been developing, working on classroom management, and refining my interactive teaching methodologies. These routine days are vital for building a consistent learning environment and deepening my understanding of the students' individual learning styles. 27 November Thursday was a key day for academic assessment. I conducted a Diagnostic Test for students in Classes 8C and 8E. The purpose of this test was not to grade, but to...

Monday to Wednesday: The Routine of a Teacher The first half of the week was a great way to settle into the daily flow of school life. Regular Working Days: I managed my assigned classes, focusing on lesson delivery and classroom management. The students are starting to get used to my teaching style, and I'm learning how to better engage them. Substitutions: I covered several substitution periods, which is always a good test of quick thinking and adaptability! It gives me a chance to interact with different age groups and subject matter. Discipline Duty: As part of the teacher on duty, I helped oversee the hallways and general student behavior during breaks. It's an important aspect of school environment maintenance and provides valuable insight into the non-academic interactions of the students. 📝 Thursday: The Thrill of the Spelling Bee Thursday brought a fantastic change of pace with an organized Spelling Bee competition for the students. This...

November 10th to November 14th, 2025, was an incredibly busy and invaluable period for us B.Ed trainees as we had the opportunity to be fully immersed in the school's Midterm Examination process. It was an excellent practical experience, not just in invigilation (exam duty), but in understanding the logistical demands of running a large-scale assessment. We saw firsthand the importance of preparation and maintaining a calm, disciplined environment. The pace was brisk, covering nearly every core subject throughout the week. Our duties involved managing the students, distributing papers, and ensuring adherence to examination protocol.I understand! Changing the perspective to that of a B.Ed trainee adds a new dimension. I'll make the tone more reflective and focus on the practical experience gained during exam duty. 🎓 A Trainee's Perspective: Navigating the Midterm Exam Week! Hello everyone! This past week, November 4th to November 8th, 2025, was an incredibly busy and inval...

DVVHSS THALAVOOR  The first week of our Phase 2 teaching practice at DVVHSS Talavoor was filled with valuable experiences and learning opportunities. On the very first day, we signed the register, and the Headmaster welcomed us with important instructions about maintaining discipline, punctuality, and proper classroom management. Throughout the week, we got familiar with the school environment, students, and timetable. We observed classes and began handling lessons with confidence and enthusiasm. The mid-day meal programme was well-organized, ensuring students received healthy food, and we also assisted in maintaining discipline during lunch hours. SPC PASSING OUT PARADE   A memorable event of the week was the SPC (Student Police Cadet) passing out parade, which displayed the students’ discipline, unity, and leadership qualities. It was a proud moment for the entire school. SPC (Student Police Cadet) passing out parade, which was a grand event attended ...
