Eleventh Week of Teaching Practice

 29 September 2025 Monday I reached school at 9 am and signed the attendance register. Soon after, I carried out my morning discipline duty, ensuring that students maintained proper order and went to take first period at 9C. I had general observation, I took the chapter Waiting for Rain. I got substitution in 7 B . As part of the NSS activities, students conducted a campaign to spread the message and values of NSS, which created a positive atmosphere of awareness and service among the school community. 3 October 2025 Friday I reached school at 9:00 a.m. and completed my regular disciplinary duties. 22 September 2025  Today, I reached the school at 9:00 am and signed the attendance register. I was assigned for the morning discipline duty, where I helped in maintaining order among students and ensuring that the morning activities were conducted in a disciplined manner. I conducted diagnostic test at 9C and I had optional observation.  As part of the ongoing arts fest, writing competitions were organized for the UP section students. The event created a vibrant atmosphere in the school and encouraged students to express their creativity. In addition to this, I conducted a conscientization program in class 8C on the topic “An Awareness Program on Gender Equality among Secondary School Students.” Through this program, I was able to discuss the importance of equality, mutual respect, and breaking gender stereotypes. Ninth week of Teaching Practice

15 September 2025  After the daily routine consisting of discipline duty I had the class for 9C at the first hour and had conducted the class test out of 10 marks on the topic phrasal verbs. I had served the mid day meals which had the menu rise sambar tauran and pickle. I then had substitution for classes sit say and 5C for the periods 5 and 6. The students were made to play memory game. The day was productive and cheerful. 16 September 2025 The Day 39 of my teaching practice begin with usual routine. The atmosphere in the school was vibrant yet disciplined. I had fourth period on 9C and I presented my innovative work at that time. We went to serve mid day meal. Eighth week of teaching practice reflection 🏫 This week of teaching practice was a valuable learning experience that helped me grow as a teacher in terms of planning, classroom management, and student engagement. 8 September 2025  Today marked the reopening of school after the Onam vacation. I reached school at 9 am and signed the attendance register. The atmosphere was bright and cheerful as both teachers and students returned after the festive break. Even though the teachers day was on September 5, as it was a holiday, the students of class 5A warmly greeted the teachers and offered flowers as a gesture of respect and love.  In the morning, I had discipline duty, ensuring that the students entered the school in a disciplined manner. There were no regular classes today, as the teachers distributed the corrected answer papers of the Onam examinations. Seventh Week of Teaching Practice

25 August, Monday I reached school at 9:00 am and signed the attendance register. I was on discipline duty and helped students to reach their respective exam halls on time. For the 9th standard students, the Chemistry exam was conducted in the morning session and the Physics exam in the afternoon session. For the 8th standard students, the Adisthanapadavali exam was held in the afternoon session. During my free time, I also completed my record works. The day went smoothly with exam duties and academic responsibilities. 26 August 2025, Tuesday  I reached the school at 9:00 am and signed the attendance register. As part of my duties, I was assigned to discipline duty. In the morning session, the Keralapadavali examination for the 9th standard students was conducted, while in the afternoon session, the Basic Science examination for the 8th standard students took place. Sixth week of Teaching Practice

18 August - 22 August  ONAM EXAMINATION  The week began with the commencement of examinations. The tests were scheduled in two shifts, one in the forenoon and the other in the afternoon. We were assigned discipline duty, ensuring that students entered their respective classes in an orderly manner. Since we did not have any regular classes to take on this day, the rest of our time was utilized in preparing lesson plans and organizing the portions to be handled after the Onam examinations. The week followed this pattern. We actively participated in all school activities given by the teachers. Because of exams we were not able to take our portions but still we spend this week fruitful by engaging in overall disciplinary duties of the school. The students of NCC had gone for 5 day camp on 21 August.

Fifth week of Teaching Practice

11 August  A program was organized by the Kerala Cricket League (KCL) in association with Federal Bank. It included a promotion activity and a campaign against drug abuse, with the Aries Kollam Sailors team present. They conducted engaging activities for the students as part of both their promotion and the campaign. It was truly a memorable experience. 12 August  A book fair was conducted by National books and publishers and it was a wonderful experience. The event featured a vast collection of books, giving students the opportunity to browse and purchase their favourites. Teachers also bought some books, making the fair an enriching experience for everyone.
